"Intro to the Profession" Webinar Series Tiger Team
Committee Charge: • The “Intro to the Profession” webinar series will be a free, open-access (no limits on registration) program for any NACE member. It is intended in the future that this series could be a preferred pre-requisite (though not absolutely required) for those applying to the LAP program. Completion of the program would qualify participants to receive a certificate with recognition at the Annual Conference.
• Deliverables:
o This Tiger team, using staff knowledge and access to historical files, will develop the content and presentation decks as well as recommendations for presenters for this webinar series that will cover the following topics:
The Purpose and Future of our Profession
Professional Networking: Leveraging NACE Connections
Getting Involved: Making a Difference as a Win-Win
• Time-frame:
o Identify learning outcomes for the three sessions by November 1, 2015 in order to open registration by December 1, 2015.
o Complete the content design and presentation decks and the list of recommended presenters by December 31, 2015.
o Support the staff-implemented launch to occur between February – April 2016.
