Mark V. Roehling is an assistant professor of management in the Haworth College of Business, Western Michigan University, where he teaches courses in staffing, introductory human resource management, and strategic human resource management. His research has appeared in leading journals such as The Journal of Applied Psychology and Personnel Psychology. He has previous experience as a HRM practitioner and as a practicing lawyer in the area of employment law. Roehling received his Ph.D. in human resource management from Michigan State University and his law degree from the University of Michigan.
