The Economic Impact of Graduate School (NACE Research)

Does a graduate degree add value in a difficult job market?

When the college labor market slows down, the prevailing wisdom is that new graduates will turn increasingly to applying to and entering graduate or professional school rather than face the vagaries of pursuing employment. With the great recession impacting new college hiring as well as experienced labor, the graduates from the Classes of 2009 and 2010, the prevailing wisdom was right.
