NACE has many leadership roles available to its members. These opportunities typically require a significant commitment of time.
Offer to mentor those new to the career services or university relations and recruiting fields. Or, sign up to become a mentee. Mentor and mentee matches are made based on criteria selected by each person.
Participate in the Leadership Advancement Program (LAP), which is designed for NACE members who want to develop leadership skills and aspire to NACE leadership roles. Applications for the Leadership Advancement Program are accepted in February/March of each year.
Work on a variety of initiatives that support the association's strategic plan through NACE committee work. Typically, the call for volunteers goes out in January/February for committees commencing July 1.
