The Board of Directors is comprised of five officers plus 6 to 11 directors, equally balanced among college and employer members.

The officers and directors are elected through national elections by NACE members.

These 16 members operate as a single national Board of Directors, overseeing the interests of all NACE college and employer members.

The NACE Directors serve a two-year term, beginning on July 1 and ending June 30, two years later. Employer and college members serve in these roles on an alternating basis so that NACE has a balanced number of college and employer members on the Board.

NACE reimburses Board and Directors for travel, lodging and meals for NACE meetings.
