Rent-A-Car developed a recruitment brand campaign that addresses the needs
and wants of job candidates while helping the company to recruit, retain,
and promote employees.
.To develop “My Personal Enterprise,” the company did extensive research to determine what job candidates—particularly new college graduates—want from an employer. Enterprise also looked within its organization to find out the skills and qualities of successful employees and the characteristics that make the company unique in its culture and career opportunities.
From this research, Enterprise created an Employee Value Proposition (EVP) that drives its messaging through its recruitment efforts and to its employees. The EVP focuses on benefit areas candidates say are most important, including:
- Enjoying what they do.
- Integrity of the company.
- Stability of the company.
- Ethics of the company.
With this in mind, “My Personal Enterprise” focuses on the values of Enterprise, such as diversity, community relations, integrity, honesty, and teamwork. This message is reinforced through recruiters’ contact with students, on Enterprise’s web site, and in print materials.
