Hotel and Travel Information

The MLI 2008 will be held at the Chattanoogan Hotel, located in downtown Chattanooga. Your hotel room is included in your paid registration fee. Please do not call the hotel to make your reservation. NACE Staff will be making your hotel reservation for the entire program. The hotel is equipped with a fitness center and provides complimentary internet access in your hotel room.

Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport offers all the services and amenities you expect without the stress of expansive terminals, long delays, and huge crowds. With our growing schedule of flights connecting to ten major airports including Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Houston, Memphis, Orlando, Washington D.C., and Tampa via St. Petersburg/Clearwater.

Taxi Service: The Chattanoogan Hotel is located about 13 miles from the airport. Taxi service is available from the airport to the hotel. You can expect to pay about $20 - $30 per ride.

Class Size

Class size is strictly limited to 60 participants in order to maximize the educational value of the program. It is strongly recommended that you mail or fax your registration form to NACE as soon as possible. You can see a copy of the preliminary schedule.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel before May 1, 2008, NACE will refund your registration fee less a $150 administration charge. No refunds can be granted after that date. Substitutions from within an organization are permitted until four weeks prior (June 10, 2008).

NBCC Credit

NACE is recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) to offer continuing education for national certified counselors. NACE adheres to NBCC continuing education guidelines. The Management Institute is approved for 28 hours of NBCC credit. The MLI will also provide participants with the first and only management credential specifically designed for the career services profession.

Tuition

Tuition is $1,995 for NACE members ($2,195 for non-members). This rate includes a single occupancy guestroom with complementary Internet access, five continental breakfasts, five lunches and the opening dinner on Sunday, and all materials used during the program.
