NACE Virtual Seminar Speaker Guidelines and Requirements
The Virtual Seminar platform offers career services professionals and college recruiters educational opportunities to learn new information and skills. Virtual seminars run for 60 minutes and should consist of a 45-minute presentation, followed by 15 minutes for questions and answers.

NACE sponsors this platform for members who are looking to become more recognized in the industry and that have a program or process related to college relations and recruitment that works well for them. We welcome all eligible members who are willing to share their insight with their colleagues to showcase their "best practices" through a virtual seminar. All events are recorded for future viewing.
Presenter Eligibility:
- NACE members and non-members are welcome to submit proposals
- Vendors will be considered, however, NO marketing or self-promotion is allowed. Seminars must be educational and informational in content
- Although it is very helpful, presenters are not required to have experience
presenting in an online environment.
Proposal Content Considerations
- Seminars with practical, proven solutions are of special interest.
- Seminars that address intermediate and advanced levels are of special interest.
- All proposals will be considered for inclusion in the program.
If selected, presenters will be required to:
- Work with the NACE staff prior to the event to ensure that the Presenter is comfortable with the online environment and structureeven if the Presenter has previous experience presenting in an online environment.
- Average practice time: 1-2 sessions with the NACE host. These practice seminars will be 15-30 minutes depending upon presenter ease/familiarity with technology, their technical setup, complexity of their presentation (application share, number of polls, etc.)
- Conduct their 60-minute seminar on their assigned day. (Seminars are only presented once but are recorded, archived, and accessed by attendees after the event.)
- Refrain from promoting their products or services during the presentation.
Dates: NACE Virtual Seminars typically run Tuesday, Wednesday, or
Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. ET.
Technical Requirements:
- Presenters must provide their own computer.
- Presenters must provide their own connection to the Internet via DSL, Cable modem, T1, or other high-speed connection.
