Who Should Attend?

• New directors or mid-career professionals with two to seven years of career services experience.
• Content is tailored to practitioners without extensive management training.
• Participants must be committed to learning and are required to complete some assignments prior to the MLI.

Hotel and Tuition Information

The 2012 Management Leadership Institute (MLI) will be held at The Sheraton Westport Plaza in St. Louis, Missouri. Fees include hotel room; there is a reduced rate for commuters. NACE staff will make your hotel reservation. The hotel provides complimentary parking for guests.

Single Room: Tuition is $2,149 for NACE members ($2,349 for non-members). This rate includes a single hotel room for five nights, continental breakfast (five days), lunch (four days), breaks (five days), opening-night (Sunday) class dinner, along with participant materials and assessments used during the program.  

Double Room: Tuition is a $1,949 rate for NACE members ($2,149 for non-members). This rate includes a shared double room for five nights, continental breakfast (five days), lunch (four days), breaks (five days), opening-night (Sunday) class dinner, along with participant materials and assessments used during the program. 

Commuter Rate: Tuition is a $1,495 rate for NACE members ($1,695 for non-members). This commuter rate includes a daily breakfast, lunch, and breaks, along with participant materials and assessments used during the program; no hotel room included.

NBCC Credit

NACE is recognized by the  National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)  to offer continuing education for national certified counselors. NACE adheres to NBCC continuing education guidelines. The Management Leadership Institute is approved for 28 hours of NBCC credit. The MLI will also provide participants with the first and only management credential specifically designed for the career services profession.

Class Size

Class size is strictly limited to 60 participants in order to maximize the educational value of the program.

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

All cancellation/substitution requests must be made in writing.

Cancellation 

• Before May 1, 2012
  If you need to cancel, you can receive a refund less $100 administration fee.
   
• After May 1, 2012
  No refunds are possible. 

Substitution

• Before May 1, 2012
  If you need to substitute, there is NO CHARGE. 
• May 1 – June 15, 2012
  If you wish to substitute, there will be a $125 assessment fee charged. 
• After June 15
  Due to the amount of time required for preparation, NO SUBSTITUTIONS are permitted.
