    • Summary

      Do the new changes to LinkedIn have you confused? Are you unsure how to use these changes to meet your needs?

      Chaim Shapiro, director of the Office for Student Success at Touro College, will introduce you to the new features within LinkedIn. LinkedIn is an invaluable component of the modern-day job search. Although never intuitive, the recent drastic changes to LinkedIn have made its effective use even more difficult. Learn how to successfully implement these new features, create a winning LinkedIn profile that stands out, find the “right” people, and apply those features as part of a well-designed recruitment strategy. LinkedIn continues to be an important component for both students and those in the work force—learn how to best use this social platform.

      Following this program, you will be able to:

      • Demonstrate proficiency in use of the “new” LinkedIn;
      • Create a LinkedIn profile that stands out; and
      • Identify and differentiate between the passive and proactive components of effective LinkedIn use.
