Spotlight for Recruiting and Employment Professionals, March 17, 2011
The recent uncertainty in the economy coupled with fast-paced shifts to the technological, social, and political landscape have many NACE members raising questions about the future direction of career services and college recruiting. To advance this ongoing discussion, NACE is launching the “Career Services and Recruiting–2015” initiative.
We have identified a small group of “thought leaders” who can offer a valuable perspective, bringing their expertise and imagination to bear on this subject, and push the envelope, challenging us all to think differently. Over the next few months, these individuals will share their ideas with NACE members through Spotlight. Additionally, at the NACE 2011 Conference in June, a combination of town hall meetings and a special general session will engage attendees in discussion on this critical topic.
In this first issue, Dan Black, Ernst & Young, Michael Sciola, Wesleyan University, and Mary Scott, Scott Resource Group, offer their views on this topic.
