The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will start accepting H-1B visa cap-subject applications on April 1, 2013, for an employee start date of October 1, 2013.
The USCIS allocates 65,000 cap-subject H-1B visas each fiscal year, and an additional 20,000 H-1B visas for foreign nationals who have earned an advanced degree from a U.S. college or university.
The quota for H-1B visas for FY2013 was reached on June 11, 2012.
