Spotlight for Recruiting Professionals

The first of four surveys being used to gather information for a NACE Foundation project to establish standards for university relations and recruiting was distributed last week to employers holding organizational membership in NACE. 

The NACE Foundation is developing professional standards that will encompass practices for a sound program, necessary experiences for managers and recruiters, and ways to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the university relations and recruiting function. The standards will be supported with quantifiable metrics and qualitative measures to enable UR professionals to gauge whether a standard has been met and to what degree. 

Heading the project is Jeff Goodman, independent human capital strategy consultant, and former senior manager of university relations at Raytheon.
