Trends in College Graduate Unemployment

Spotlight Online for Career Services Professionals, December 8, 2010

Over the past year, the unemployment rate has dipped for new college graduates (from 8.8 percent to 8.6 percent), while recent graduates (ages 25-34) saw their unemployment rate rise slightly (from 4.8 to 5.1 percent), according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. (See Figure 1)
