Summary

This webinar is geared to provide tools and strategies to professionals working with students, and alumni who are assessing their career options after a career break. Whether an individual has taken time off to stay home with young children, to care for a sick parent, to retire, or to reassess career plans, this webinar will provide a road map to professionals on how to best work with students and/or alumni to help define their values, goals, and priorities; build their personal brands; and chart their job search path. Attendees will receive an overview of current job trends impacting this population, networking strategies, resources for career research, tips on building a resume and LinkedIn profile, and social media job search strategies.

Following this program, you will be able to:

Examine the needs of this population;
Select specific tools to help this population return to the workplace (i.e. resume, LinkedIn profile, and two-minute pitch); and
Construct a successful action plan to get back in to the workplace for individuals who have or are thinking about taking a career break.
