From Performance Evaluation to Learning Assessment: Measuring Growth, Focusing on Strengths

The mid-semester onsite is a unique feature of the Aquinas College Internship Program. Hear how we’ve transformed our internship program from performance evaluation to learning assessments, incorporating employer and student feedback and NACE career readiness competencies. More importantly, we eliminated the dreaded number scale to truly assess a student's progress toward their learning objectives. We'll review traditional performance evaluations and compare them to a more valuable and growth-mindset focused learning assessment.
