Colleges and universities struggle annually to efficiently collect first-destination survey data. Yet, this data is increasingly important to constituents ranging from the federal government to parents. Arguably, this data is even more important to liberal arts institutions as our consumers—students—seek deliverables on their education. In this presentation, Hillsdale College Career Services will share unique strategies that have kept our FDS knowledge rate above 97 percent while addressing how we have supplemented the survey to answer the question: "What is the purpose of a liberal arts education?"
