Effectively Navigating a Centralized Function in a Decentralized Organization
Description:
Centralized, decentralized, hybrid, or functionally owned. The look, feel and structure of university recruitment will most often mirror the structure of the organization, each having its advantages and disadvantages, each its pros and cons, each requiring a different level of strategic execution, agility and capability, both internally and externally. But there is a different level of complexity when you are leading a centralized UR function, globally, in a decentralized organization. An $18 billion dollar organization, with over 20 businesses, each with their own unique brand, logo, business, and product portfolio. This session is intended to talk through the structure, past and current challenges, and how we have been able to both successfully navigate and build a strategic execution model that supports the business needs, demand fulfillment, and the candidate experience.
