Escape the Norm: Engaging Students With Interactive Escape Room Programming
Description:
Escape rooms are a popular and fun experience that attract and engage students while motivating and instructing them. Escape rooms are real-life team-based puzzles, riddles, and activities that are used to meet a time-based goal. During this interactive panel session, participants will learn how escape rooms are used at three different institutions to engage students, teach NACE Career Readiness Competencies, and introduce career development. The session will include tips, tools, and strategies for how to create and implement an escape room on your campus and how to use escape rooms to create employer relations opportunities.
