CliftonStrengths & Multicultural Identities: A Collaboration for Diversity and Career Centers
Description:
As students begin career exploration, many benefit from self-assessments like CliftonStrengths. Though understanding strengths can guide career development, students also face questions about their social identities. Often these are questions about how social identities show up in the job search and workplace cultures. By combining identity with CliftonStrengths, facilitators provide a much-needed opportunity for reflection on the intersections of identities. This presentation provides participants with a model for a program focused on career exploration and identity development, so students are empowered to claim their strengths and identities. Participants will experience the program through an engaging simulation.
