Coaching Strategies for Students Who Need to Recareer Involuntarily
Description:
In a rapidly changing labor market, professional adaptability is needed among all graduates. Many students are forced to adapt early when they are denied admission into their chosen undergraduate (e.g., nursing, engineering, business administration, education) or graduate (e.g., pre-medicine) academic program. Others are prohibited from entering their chosen field because of criminal charges that surface in their background checks. Attend this session to learn evidence-based strategies for supporting students who cope with involuntary career transitions and ways to integrate adaptability into your campus-wide coaching strategies.
