Using Predictive Modeling to Disrupt University Employer Relations
Description:
Employer engagement is difficult to quantify. Metrics such as number of graduates hired and annual contributions to research and institutional advancement are useful measures, but this information is often disconnected. The end result is that universities often don’t have a good measure of the multiple dimensions and overall strength of their relationships with key employers. The University of Kentucky is working to integrate new data management tools in order to address these challenges and shift university employer relations from disconnected systems to a highly analytical approach based on predictive modeling.
