DEIAB-Centered Virtual Career Programming That Micro-Affirms Students With Intersectional Identities
Description:
Career development departments at various higher education institutions need to co-create a culture of care and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to better serve all students but most especially students of color with intersectional identities. This presentation will be facilitated with an asset-focused lens for research-based, data-informed, and DEIAB-centered virtual career programming for all. The power of partnerships will be discussed as well as examples of virtual career-related events that have had a transformative impact on institutional culture.
