Career Pathways for Undocumented Students: What Colleges and Employers Need to Know
Description:
Learning Outcomes: Understand and counsel colleagues, students, graduates, and applicants about about the career pathways that are available to them, with or without Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status or Temporary Protected Status (TPS). Understand and address the systemic barriers facing undocumented students in launching their careers, with and without work authorization. Understand and implement practices that will support undocumented students in (1) building career readiness skills, (2) having meaningful internship/fellowship experiences, (3) building professional networks, and (4) accessing career opportunities.
