HBCU Students’ Barriers and Opportunities to Enter the Workforce
Description:
In this session, career and recruiting professionals will deepen their empathy for Black students’ journey toward entering the workforce by discovering their motivations, beliefs, and challenges. Attendees will gain an increased understanding of the outreach strategies that can help propel Black students in their pipeline. Learning Objectives: Gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and roadblocks Black applicants face while searching and applying to jobs. Learn strategies to support Black applicants in their job search and application process. Understand what type of actions and efforts to prioritize in order to better reach Black applicants.
