Description:
Career-Ready Bootcamp is an intimate and intensive three-day career development experience designed to increase historically underrepresented students’ confidence in navigating their career journey through interactive skill-building activities, networking, peer-to-peer and small group discussions, and in-depth mentor interactions. Learning Objectives: Articulate the benefits of a small, intimate, and intensive multi-day bootcamp experience for historically underrepresented and diverse students, and recognize the programmatic advantages for mentors, alumni, and employers. Plan and execute a targeted, high-impact bootcamp event designed to meet the needs of diverse student populations on their home campus. Gain the practical knowledge to create your own bootcamp experience, including developing program outcomes, selecting participants and mentors, executing a multi-day collaborative program, and administering postevent assessments.
