Proactive Career Center Strategies to Drive Student Success
Description:
The Baylor Career Center operates under a strategy that enables high levels of equitable student success, including a 99% FDS knowledge rate and nearly 90% undergraduate success rates. The strategy focuses on three aspects: specific student engagement, employer/recruiter relationships, and faculty/staff relationships, along with data analytics. Learning Objectives: Take the strategies back to your career centers and find out how they might benefit your departmental strategies. Reassess your data practices and potentially implement some of what was presented to help make your career center more efficient and effective. Identify how employer and faculty/staff relationships can help drive student success.
