Peer Advising and Professional Graduate Students
Description:
Graduate Career services, particularly for masters-level or professional degrees is an underrepresented area of study and discussion in the field. This session will explore how two professional schools have utilized peer advising to expand the scope of their office, develop student and peer advisor skills, and meet student needs. Later portions of the session will review best practices, cautionary tales, and self-reflection time to consider opportunities for developing or advancing existing graduate peer advising programs.
