Innovating to Engage Graduate Students in Their Career Searches
Description:
To serve the needs of graduate students with 5 years of professional experience (on average), the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy has implemented internship/job search groups as a tool to build agency, confidence, and accountability to support student success. In this workshop, you’ll learn about the search group design and implementation process, and how the Ford School reached 40% participation among a diverse group of first year Master’s students, and increased career engagement throughout the year.
