Raising Money to Benefit Student Success
Description:
Allocated budgets don’t cut it anymore. Career-development practitioners have to be resource generators and effective fundraisers. Learn how to strategically identify funding sources, create proposals, and acquire resources from foundations, associations, donors, recruiters, alumni, parents, and key partners to benefit student career engagement. The presenter will share the contagious thrill of receiving, and then allocating, more than $1 million of funding from multiple sources. Participants will learn and apply proven techniques to generate income, track outcomes, and tell stories for their career education initiatives.
