      • Explore H-1B visa challenges faced by higher education and employers;
      • Identify/share strategies and solutions for working within current job-market dynamics;
      • Review STEM recruiting trends and brainstorm/share student career development and candidate talent acquisition strategies; and
      • Review STEM student survey results and discuss implications for higher education and industry.

      This three-hour event incorporates moderated discussion by Matthew Brink, NACE assistant executive director. The audience will consist of members from both colleges and employers. The event will feature guided discussion, a question-and-answer period, and networking opportunities.

      Matthew Brink, Assistant Executive Director, NACE

      Matthew Brink is assistant executive director for programs and services for the National Association of Colleges and Employers, and he oversees professional development services, meetings and events, and all research initiatives. An experienced professional in the field, Brink has overseen career services in a variety of institutions, including, most recently, the University of Delaware, and he has been active in employer-focused activities.
