      With a large veteran and milspouse population, universities are adapting and responding to the current landscape. Join University of Colorado Springs to explore a life/career transition model that was intended for highlighted military community members. The goal of this session is to dispel pre-existing notions about veteran and milspouse students.

      Following this program, you will be able to:

      • Identify strategies for better assisting/understanding veterans and family members;
      • Explore the transition challenges facing these populations as students and job seekers; and
      • Review additional resources that can work to provide better assistance and understanding among the veteran and military populations.
