    • Summary

      Has there been such a pivotal point in our lifetime when emotions at work are heightened by overlapping world challenges? A large majority of workers are emotionally drained and burned out. A 2020 Harvard Business Review study revealed 62% of respondents said they were struggling to manage their workloads through burnout, 89% said their life at work was getting worse, and 85% said their well-being had declined. Being able to adapt an emotional intelligence (EQ) mindset shift is one cure to address emotional drivers of burnout in the workplace. The emotional intelligence (EI) framework is shaped by experiences and reinforced through explicit instruction of social and emotional skills. An emotionally intelligent mindset shift requires the ability to manage our emotions and the emotions of others.

      Following this program, you will be able to:

      • Propose emotional intelligence mindset shifts and best practices to cure emotional drivers of burnout in the workplace;
      • Understand how to identify varied emotional drivers of burnout in the workplace;
      • Apply practical ideas and approaches to cure emotional burnout; and
      • Reflect on methods to employ EQ to persist toward longstanding mindset shifts.
