    • Summary

      We are seeing a revolution in the way higher education, students, parents, and our association are spotlighting the movement of career services, both in reporting and elevation. This presentation will engage participants in unpacking models and case studies of how career services can be elevated for a seat or better seat at the table. Key takeaways from a NACE Task Force and data will serve as a guide and roadmap to potentially elevated roles. Participants in this session will take the journey of discovery. Attendees will participate in a hands-on mapping activity to identify key stakeholders, influencers, and progress stallers. While this session is open to both career services individuals and employers, the data and case studies are largely pertinent to the career service audience, while employers may use these resources to support their elevation.

      Following this program, you will be able to:

      • Create a roadmap to build a strategy that connects with their university culture and constituent needs;
      • Develop the opportunity for crowdsourcing ideas and deliverables to engage campus partners for desired outcomes; and
      • Compile data, resources, mapping exercise, and survey results to inform their campus leadership of best-practice in the current landscape of career services in higher education.
