  Deep dive into the value of companies coming together with their campus partners under a unified banner of corporate social responsibility, working together to better the community while connecting talent with opportunity. Companies often have separate strategies and budgets for campus recruiting separate from corporate social responsibility. This presentation will share a strategy brings them together, allowing better return on investment.

  Following this program, you will be able to:

  • Understand the role corporate social responsibility and community partnership have in our mission;
  • Conceptualize where opportunities exist and how to execute on them; and
  • Begin planning community partnerships involving "The New 3 C's - Companies, Campuses, and Communities"

  Chris Fitzpatrick, Manager, University Relations and DEI, Crestron Electronics Inc.

  Chris Fitzpatrick, PHR, SHRM-CP, is has spent the past 16 years of his professional life in the campus recruiting and HR space, currently leading campus, diversity and inclusion, and talent development at Crestron Electronics. Fitzpatrick is a professional speaker, focusing on topics such as campus recruiting, leadership, communication, diversity and inclusion, emotional intelligence, and more. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Montclair State University and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from the University of Arizona, Global Campus. As a self-described “Aspiring Game Show Host,” Fitzpatrick brings energy, humor, and fun to his presentations whether in-person or virtual. As a “Below-Average Charity Golfer,” Chris was recently voted “Most Likely to Sink Your Foursome.” Chris balances his work with his love of family and community, supported by Rebecca, his amazing wife of 14 years, and energized by his 6-year-old son Liam. One of Chris’s greatest passions in life is his love of public speaking, guided by his personal mantra “The only difference between a stepping-stone and a stumbling block is where you put your foot.”
