• Summary

  For the first time ever, NACE has conducted research to gain a snapshot of the state of our profession in light of our times—how professionals are viewing careers and work satisfaction, and how emotional well-being has been impacted. Over the past few years, professionals across industries have been navigating changing economic times, the impacts of a public health crisis, and the changing nature of work and workplaces. We have all heard of the Great Resignation and "quiet quitting" of workers, and have seen many workplaces shift modalities. Join us for an informative town hall where we will share our findings on the state of our profession and also discuss the impact these recent shifts have on our future.

  Shawn VanDerziel, Executive Director, NACE

  As executive director of the National Association of Colleges and Employers, Shawn VanDerziel leads the association of 14,000+ professionals at more than 3,000 employing organizations and educational institutions engaged in the career development and the employment of college students and alumni. Prior to joining the NACE staff, Shawn was with the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago for 23 years, where he most recently served as chief human resources officer and as chief of staff. His earlier roles included corporate recruiting with Norrell Corporation and a position in higher education as associate director of student enrollment at National Louis University.
