Rapid adoption of direct-to-candidate tools and emerging technologies have fundamentally changed the recruiting landscape and have disrupted traditional on-campus recruiting for employers, students, and career centers alike. Career centers will need to adjust their service model to sit at the intersection of student advocacy, understanding of technology, and relationship management, while employers will need to determine how emerging recruiting practices are conducive to effective, inclusive hiring. Participants will leave this session with an understanding of trends on college campuses and in recruiting, and will leave with tangible, creative, and sustainable approaches to establishing collaborative relationships with their employer/career center partners.
