In this presentation the author, Katharine Brooks, will present the highlights of the Parachute Approach, which can be easily applied to one-on-one and group coaching or advising sessions with college students. Topics covered will include career exploration, designing a workplace that fits, establishing connections and conversations that lead to jobs, and preparing to find an internship, GAP experience, job, or entry into graduate school. This book can be used with individual students or can serve as a textbook for a career class.
