    • Summary

      Throughout the past two challenging years, the UConn Center for Career Development has turned a critical eye toward our previous and current DEI efforts. In summer 2020, we began a revamp of our internal DEI Committee, which ended up incorporating our entire team. Many of the efforts initiated by this revamp are still going strong, such as our DEI Town Halls, DEI-focused coaching case studies, and data collection efforts to hear from students who belong to various affinity communities. We are now at a point where every member of our team has multiple unique roles that allow them to contribute to one or more DEI-focused projects. Join us as we share what some of those roles are and how they have evolved over the past two years. This webinar will be a follow-up to our previous webinar entitled Beyond a Committee: Promoting DEI as an Entire Career Center Team. The content will be relevant to both new and returning attendees.

      Following this program, you will be able to:

      • Identify multiple structure options for getting your entire career center team involved in DEI efforts;
      • Determine the resources required to implement multiple structure options for DEI involvement and which are feasible for your team; and
      • Recognize effective assessment strategies for multiple structure options for DEI involvement and the pros/cons of each.
