Spotlight for Career Services ProfessionalsSpotlight for Recruiting Professionals
During its 60th anniversary year, NACE is honoring its service to the profession, in part, by asking its members to look forward to the year 2021 and help model a vision of the future through polls posted on NACEWeb.
NACE’s fourth poll asked members about their predictions regarding the qualities that students will value most in the employers for which they want to work in 2021. More than 50 NACE members responded.
Survey respondents were asked to rank order six qualities, with “1” being the most valued. Participants anticipate students will be most drawn to a good benefits package, followed by job security.
Three qualities—opportunity for rapid advancement, ability to improve the community, and high starting salary—were clustered behind. Coming in last was opportunity for personal growth. (View complete results of the Employer Qualities poll.)
See results of the first poll (mega-trends affecting our field), the second poll (operational challenges), and the third poll (connecting with students).
