Well-Being and Belonging: Contributions From Career Services
Description:
Application deadlines, interviews, and decision making around the job-search process can be seen as inherently stressful. How can career services offices integrate well-being practices into a process that often leaves students feeling anxious and stressed out? In 2015, the dean of the ILR School at Cornell made a commitment to the student experience and well-being. The Office of Career Services responded by teaming up with advising colleagues, developing shared priorities, and defining well-being principles that could be consistently applied across the school. This session will discuss how we shifted our approach, early wins, and our roadmap moving forward.
