Mixing Oil and Water: Faculty Involvement and Career Readiness
Description:
Faculty will include career readiness competency development in the curriculum! At Georgia State, we are making it happen. Students develop career readiness competencies in every component of their education, and the most effective way for students to understand its importance is by faculty intentionally including it in the curriculum. This session will include strategies for making it easy for faculty to include career readiness perspective in their courses from the core to the capstone, how to help faculty support student awareness of and connections between coursework and career readiness, and approaches to get the support from upper administration.
