The "LifeWorks SUPER 100" Initiative: Promoting Student Employees’ Career Readiness, Awareness, and Confidence
Description:
The LifeWorks SUPER 100 is an innovative career-readiness initiative undertaken by Berry College in partnership with Mohawk Industries. Presenters will share how they are promoting student employees' career readiness, awareness, and confidence through a shared suite of assessment tools, career resources, and feedback from work supervisors. Learning Objectives: Learn how Berry and Mohawk are partnering to implement an innovative career-readiness assessment tool (e.g,, SkillSurvey) to provide comparative, competency-based, developmental feedback to student employees from supervisors. How to use career-readiness assessment data to support and guide student employees’ professional development plans / goals, both individually and collectively (as a work team). Use best practices and strategies for implementing/scaling career-readiness initiatives for your student employees and/or interns (e.g., recruiting/training supervisors, getting buy-in from senior leaders, sharing data/outcomes).
