Q. As a NACE member, do I save any money on my preconference workshop or NACE Conference & Expo registration?
A. Yes, NACE members enjoy discounted registration for preconference workshops and the NACE 2014 Conference & Expo. Visit the registration page for a complete list of registration rates and cutoff dates.

Q. Where can I get a registration form for a colleague?
A. Once registration opens, additional group and offline registration information will be available. Please visit the registration page for more information.

Q. What if I need to transfer my registration?
A. Paid registrations are transferable through April 15, 2014. No transfer requests will be accepted after April 15, 2014, including onsite transfer requests at the NACE 2014 Conference & Expo. Approved transferred submitted by April 15, 2014 will not incur handling fees. Each registrant may transfer his/her registration only once, and rate differences based on membership status may apply. Contact the NACE professional development team via e-mail or phone, 610.868.1421, to request a registration transfer.
Please note that NACE reserves the right to approve or deny any requested transfer. If a transfer request is denied, the standard cancellation policy will apply.

Q. What if I need to cancel my registration?
A. All cancellations must be submitted in writing, via e-mail, to the NACE professional development team. Cancellation requests received before March 1, 2014, are subject to a $75 administrative fee. Cancellation requests received from March 1 through April 15, 2014, will be refunded at 50 percent of the registration fee. Cancellation requests received after April 15, 2014, are nonrefundable.

Q. How will I receive my name badge?
A. All badges are to be picked up on site. Attendees and exhibitors who register in advance may pick up their badge and registration materials at the registration desk during the following hours:

Q. How can I reserve a room for the NACE 2014 Conference & Expo?
A. To reserve rooms at the Marriott Rivercenter and the Marriott Riverwalk, reserve online or call 1.877.622.3056. (When calling, reference the NACE Conference to ensure you get the discounted rate.)
Beware of scams. NACE 2014 Conference & Expo hotel reservations should only be made following the instructions listed on the event website. Do not provide your personal or credit card information to any parties that solicit hotel reservations via phone or fax. NACE does not employ any third-party services to coordinate hotel reservations.

A. Depending on the hotel's availability, the group rate is available three days pre- and -post- conference. NACE cannot guarantee availability of pre/post rates, even if you are able to get the discounted rate during the conference dates. Q. Where can I receive a copy of the conference program?
A. The conference program will be available for download in late May 2014. Copies will also be distributed to registered attendees onsite. Check out the NACE 2013 Conference & Expo program for a preview of what NACE14 will offer.

Q. Can I get NBCC/HRCI credits for attending the conference?
A. NACE is recognized by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) and the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) as qualified to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for National Certified Counselors and credits for PHR/SPHR.
Beginning in spring 2014, visit the schedule page or contact the NACE professional development team via e-mail or phone, 610.868.1421, for details about CEUs offered.

Q. Will handouts be available for professional development programs this year?
A. Yes, presentations will be available for download before the conference, and registrants will be notified via e-mail about how to access handouts approximately one week before the conference. You may review the handouts, print or download those of interest, and bring them with you to the conference.

Q. Can I reserve a seat in a specific workshop?
A. No, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, and space is limited in each workshop. Your best bet is to arrive early to ensure you get a seat. The Fire Code is very strict, and we cannot accommodate more people than there are seats. Standing is not allowed.

Q. What should I wear to the conference?
A. The NACE conference is set in a relaxed, professional atmosphere. Attire for the conference is business casual. Meeting room temperatures can be cool and the climate may vary, so it is recommended that you wear layered clothing for comfort. It is common in hotels to walk 10 to 15 minutes from your room to get to the conference rooms, so wear comfortable shoes!

A. While attendees may bring family members to the conference location, only paid registrants wearing appropriate conference badges will be permitted to attend conference events.
