The purpose of the Mentorship Program is to help NACE members share knowledge and ideas, gain expertise, and build their professional network. This is a two-person relationship with a mentor and a mentee.
The formal relationship lasts one year and will work best if the mentor and mentee meet face-to-face or virtually on a regular schedule (a minimum of one hour each month is recommended). This opportunity will allow mentees to learn more about the profession overall as well as provide them with the chance to delve into any subject area that may be of interest.
An application form for those interested in serving as a mentor as well as those interested in being a mentee will be found online during the sign up period. Participants will then be notified of their assignments. (Note: The Mentor Program team will assign matches based on the criteria detailed in your application.) Once assignments are made, participants will be provided with a quick and easy guide to help them gain the most from the program.
