The 2008 Annual Conference is being held at the
Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, 900 Convention
Center Boulevard, New Orleans. NACE has arranged
special room rates for attendees at two hotels, both
of which are just a few short blocks from the
Convention Center. (Transportation will be provided
for those unable to walk to the Convention Center.)(View walking directions)
Hotel Information:
The headquarter conference hotel for the 2008 Annual Conference is the Marriott New Orleans, 555 Canal Street, New Orleans. Rooms at the Marriott New Orleans have been sold out.
Reserved rooms remain available at the 
JW Marriott Hotel New Orleans, 614 Canal Street,
New Orleans. The rate is $165+tax per night. For reservations, call the hotel at 800/771-9067. You must provide the reservation agent with the group code name, “NACE Annual
Conference,” in order to receive the group rate.
Two additional hotels are available at special rates until May 16.
- New Orleans Marriott Convention Center
has rooms for $145+tax per night: you can make make reservations online. For reservations by phone, call 800/305-6342, the group code is NACNACA - Rooms are also available at the Marriott Courtyard Convention Center at $135+tax per night. You can book your room online. For reservations, call the hotel at 800/228-9290; the reservations code is NACNACA (king room) or NACNACB (queen/queen room).
In order to receive the conference hotel rate, we recommend that make your hotel reservations as soon as you have a confirmed conference registration.
Getting to New Orleans
The Louis Armstrong International Airport is just 15 miles from the central business district (CBD) and French Quarter. It is a quick ride away, whether you go by bus, shuttle, taxi, or limousine. If you arrive by Greyhound Bus or AMTRAK train, Union Terminal is centrally located and served by RTA buses, taxis, and limos. Visit their web site at www.flymsy.com for more information.
Airport Shuttle New Orleans: Shuttle service is available from the airport to the Marriott New Orleans and JW Marriott on Canal Street. NACE has arranged for a $2.00 discount on round-trip fares. One-way fare is $15.00. Roundtrip fare is reduced from $30 roundtrip to $28 roundtrip. In order to receive the discount, you must reserve your transportation online.
Taxis: A fixed rate of $28 (one to two people) is charged from the airport to most areas of New Orleans. For parties of more than two, the fare is $12 per person.
