    Do you have trouble preparing an effective presentation? Are you interested in learning about different presentation methods? Attend this portion of the NACE Personal Development Series to learn strategies that will help you become a better presenter. Learn best practices so you can create that captivating slide deck, connect with the audience, and channel nervous energy to make your overall presentation engaging.

    Following this program, you will be able to:

    • Decide which presentation method works best with your personality;
    • Develop an outline of your presentation topic;
    • Differentiate items that should be and should not be on your slide deck; and
    • Determine a pre-presentation routine that will help you prepare for your live presentation.

    Registration includes three-month, post-event access to the webinar archive.

    During this one-hour webinar, the presenter will deliver a synchronized audio and PowerPoint presentation. Participants will have time for live Q&A throughout the program and may be asked to contribute opinions or feedback via live chat, virtual polling, and other mechanisms.

    Christian Garcia

    Christian Garcia, Associate Dean and Executive Director, University of Miami Toppel Career Center

    Christian Garcia is a higher education professional with over 15 years of experience in a variety of areas within student and academic affairs. He currently serves as the executive director of the Toppel Career Center at the University of Miami, where he is responsible for the management and strategic direction of one of the country's most innovative and dynamic career centers. Previously, Christian served as associate director of employer relations, responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with employers representing a wide range of industries.

    Christian is currently on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Colleges and Employers. He is currently working toward his doctoral degree with a dual concentration in Higher Education and Organizational Leadership. Christian earned his master of science degree in higher education from Florida State University and bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Florida International University. Prior to UM, he worked at the University of Michigan and Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
