    The Assessments for Coaching Intensive workshop provides attendees the opportunity to dive deep into to the world of coaching assessments. Learners will gain a solid understanding of available assessments such as 360, DISC, Strengths Finder, Meyers Briggs, and Emotional Intel among others to identify client strengths. Through use of appropriate assessment strategies learners will appropriately align assessment results to the coaching plan.

    Following this program, you will be able to:

    • Identify existing factors affecting the coaching process: client support system, attitude and social factors;
    • Establish appropriate goals based on client preference and assessment results;
    • Evaluate assessment tools for purpose, appropriateness, and accessibility;
    • Assist client in correlating stated goals and current state; and
    • Select appropriate assessments based on client scenario review.

    Dress for the Assessments for Coaching Intensive workshop is business casual.

    NACE has reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard Nashville Airport for $140. Spots are limited, so make your reservations soon.


    You can receive a full refund less a 5 percent administrative fee if you cancel your registration at least 15 days prior to the beginning of the Assessments in Coaching Intensive Workshop. Your request must be in writing and should be directed to events@naceweb.org. Cancellation requests made less than 15 days prior to the start of the event/program are not refundable. However, a credit equal to the value of the cancelled registration will be issued and will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.     Ann Garner, Executive Director, Johns Hopkins University Career Center
    Ann Garner
    Ann M. Garner is the executive director of the Johns Hopkins University Career Center. Ann has 12 years of experience in career services managing teams of career services professionals, facilitating organizational change, and providing career coaching and employer relations at George Mason University and George Washington University. Ann is also an adjunct career coaching instructor for the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). Prior to her tenure in higher education, Ann held positions in human resources, training design, and career development in the Federal government. Ann earned her bachelors of arts in government from the University of Virginia and her masters in human resource development from George Mason University. Most recently, Ann was certified by the International Coach Federation as an associate certified coach. ​
    Continuing Education Credit Hours:
    BCC – 7.5 clock hours per session.
    ICF – 7.5 clock hours per session.

    BCC Knowledge Assessment: Upon successful completion and participation in the NACE Career Coaching Intensive, named registrants who wish to receive a certificate of completion will be provided instructions to complete the online NACE CCI Knowledge Assessment. The assessment consists of 25 multiple-choice and true/false questions.

    Attendees scoring a 88 percent or better on the assessment will receive the NACE Career Coaching Intensive Certificate of Completion. Successful completion of the workshop and obtaining the certificate of completion can be used in part (7.5 hours) to meet the training requirements for the Board Certified Coach credential offered through the Center for Credentialing and Education.
