Which types of employers account for the most offers to graduates in the science, technology, engineering, and math disciplines?
Based on the number of offers, engineering services firms top the list by a wide margin, according to results of NACE’s Spring 2010 Salary Survey. In fact, offers from these employers came at a rate five times greater than the second most active employers, petroleum and coal products companies. (See Figure 1.)
As the average salaries offered by top employers suggest, competition for STEM is fierce.
