What should I wear to an event?

What should I wear to an event?

NACE events are set in a relaxed, professional atmosphere. Attire is business casual. Meeting room temperatures can be cool, and the climate may vary; wear layered clothing for comfort.

I cannot attend, but my colleague can. What do I do?

Before April 28, 2024, you can transfer your registration to a colleague by following these steps:

Substitution Policy Details
  • Submit your request in writing to events@naceweb.org by April 28, 2024. Include your registration confirmation with your written request.
  • Only one transfer is allowed per original registration.

Due to required pre-work that all program participants must complete, no substitution requests will be accepted after April 28, 2024. (Please note: NACE reserves the right to deny substitution requests.)

I need to cancel my registration. Can I get my money back?

All cancellation/substitution requests must be made in writing. Send requests to events@naceweb.org or call 610.625.1026 for assistance.

Cancellation Policy Details
  • Cancellation requests received before April 5, 2024 will receive a full refund, less a $150 administration fee.
  • Cancellation requests received after April 5, 2024 will not be eligible for a refund. This includes on-site "no shows."

I need a copy of my invoice/confirmation.

What meals are included in my registration?

Breakfast and lunch are included Monday through Friday; your registration also includes the opening night dinner (Monday). Remaining dinners are on your own.

As a NACE member, do I save any money on my registration?

Yes—this is a key benefit of membership, and NACE members enjoy steep discounts on events. For the MLI, depending on which accommodation option you have selected, your membership has saved you up to $230 off the regular price.

My boss is a NACE member. Can I attend at the member rate, too?

You must have your own membership to receive the member rate. For details about membership, see our website.
